Personal Style Part 2 – SHOPPING!!!

Three friends shopping for their personal style.

Okay, you have determined your style. Now it’s time to go shopping and create the wardrobe that defines YOU. Prepare yourself. This may take a long time and a lot of walking around. If you are like me and you do not fit in one particular style group, you are not going to get everything from one store. If you do get lucky and you find that store that is just YOU... well congrats. That is very rare.

Now as I said before, do not buy something unless it is calling your name and you are saying YES!! I WILL buy you! If you are just like “This is cool” do NOT buy it! You will wear it once or twice. Then it’s going to sit there in your closet forever until you clean out your closet and you see it and decide to give it away.

Please don’t be afraid to admit that; just calmly put it back on the rack. It’s fine, not everything will suit you. But the glorious time will come when you find that perfect shirt, or that perfect dress and you try it on and you feel like a million dollars. You go to the cashier and beam as you lay the money on the counter and there is an extra sway in your walk when you leave the store.

Whenever you leave home make sure you look at yourself in the mirror and you feel totally confident about what you are wearing. Once you feel confident inside, it will show in the way you carry yourself and people are sure to take notice.

That’s it for now! HAPPY SHOPPING!!
