Anya Fever In Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago has got absolute Anya fever ever since her win on Project Runway.

The Trinidad Express’ Woman magazine said it succinctly – 'Call It A Comeback'.

From the ashes of scandal and sniggering two years ago, Anya has risen like a phoenix and is now the toast of Trinidad, with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bisessar hailing her as a “fine example” of Trinidadian talent.

Her victory was witnessed at a viewing party at the Carlton Savannah where folks screamed their heads off.

Meanwhile, MP Jack Warner and Port-of-Spain mayor Louis Lee Sing knocked Trinidadians for the treatment of Anya two years ago, noting that everyone had now scrambled back on the Anya bandwagon.
