Have you guys seen Shontelle's latest music video? Is it just me but does it look like she's trying to jump onto the edgy/sexy pop bandwagon that Rihanna and Lady GaGa were the trailblazers of?

This is just NOT her. As someone who is from the same country as Rihanna and made the mistake of making several references to Ri Ri way too early in her career, Shontelle should avoid the comparisons by creating an image that is a little more unique and less copycat. Shontelle does not look comfortable in her own skin in this new "edgy" look.

See, the difference? It's really is a shame because Shontelle is a talented girl; too bad her "people" can't find the right image or music for her. From the beginning, it felt like they were squeezing her personality from her music and even her voice.

However, I do agree with the Islandista about her other single Impossible. It sounds much more promising:
