There are some foods that I know are bad for me that I should keep to a minimum in my diet such as macaroni pie and fried chicken. However, I can’t stop eating them because they taste so good. For the long-term, we need to eat healthier though to maintain our weight, and decrease the chances of diabetes, high cholesterol and other ailments that cut our life short.

Incorporate a variety of vegetables to your dishes
Eating healthy, once a drag for me, is now easy since I realised it did not have to be boring or tasteless. Let’s explore some suggestions to eating healthy without sacrificing flavour.
Keep it interesting – Try many different dishes to keep the interest in eating healthy on the increase. Don’t eat the same vegetables each time. That will get old really quickly. Butter and oil are used mainly to keep the dish from sticking to the pot or pan and you will not miss the taste if you add the aforementioned healthy items. Add them to whole wheat pasta or rice instead of the white versions to add an extra zip to a meal that is healthy and tasty.
Don’t quit cold turkey – Gradually wean yourself off the foods that are dangerous for you. Start slowly by introducing vegetables to your meal, make the unhealthy portions smaller and then get rid of the most deadly bits for you. There may be no need to eliminate all items from your previous diet; however, you do want to ensure that you are eating healthier options. This should be easier now that you know that it does not have to be boring.
