Crop Over Throwback: Sak Passe
In Barbados, it's that time again - Crop Over*! And to appreciate the present, sometimes it's great to have a look at the past. So from now until the end of Crop Over, Kurama Magazine will have a Crop Over Throwback of the week.
Sak Passe
It feels like only yesterday when this song was a hit in Barbados and the rest of the Caribbean but would you believe it's been nine years?

Popular prolific band krosfyah released 'Sak Passe' for Crop Over in 2001. With their infectious melodies, high-energy performances and pulsating rhythms, krosfyah and especially frontmen Edwin Yearwood and Khiomal have made their mark on the soca music scene over the past 20 years.
Relive the vibes that made you want to "drink yuh drink" and chip down the road:
*Crop Over: The most anticipated festival in Barbados, which was founded to celebrate the end of the sugar cane harvest.
