Crop Over Throwback 'Tempted To Touch'

Crop Over* is in full swing in Barbados! And every week Kurama Magazine has been celebrating with a Crop Over Throwback of the week.

Tempted To Touch

This week's throwback is soca star Rupee's international hit 'Tempted To Touch'. Rupee first burst onto the Barbadian soca scene with the band Coalishun in 1997 but it was only a few years later when he developed a successful solo career with the release of songs like 'Ice Cream' and 'Jump' from his self-released albums. His biggest hit 'Tempted To Touch' enjoyed over two years of international club play. It led to Rupee’s record deal with Atlantic Records and it was the first single on his internationally released album '1 On 1'.
