Crop Over* has officially started in Barbados! And every week Kurama Magazine will celebrate with a Crop Over Throwback of the week.

This week, we're featuring Lil Rick's 'Girls Gone Wild' from Crop Over 2007. Ever since Lil Rick, also known as Hypa Dawg and the Chihuahua Businessman, broke into the soca arena in the 1990s, he's garnered a reputation for his flexible waistline and has released hit after hit ever since, including his hot single 'Hard Wine'.This four-time Party Monarch winner also has his own radio show called the Guinness Rush Hour.

*Crop Over: The most anticipated festival in Barbados, which was founded to celebrate the end of the sugar cane harvest. It begins in June and comes to a climax with Grand Kadooment on the first Monday of August. Kadooment is a massive carnival parade with revellers dressed in vibrant, eye-catching costumes. Crop Over comprises of other exciting main events including Bridgetown Market, the calypso competitions Pic-o-de Crop and Party Monarch, and the variety show Cohobblopot.
