Caribbean Presence at AMAs!

The Caribbean was well represented at the American Music Awards last night. Barbados' Rihanna opened the show with an amazing, Caribbean-influenced performance and Trinidadian-born Nicki Minaj presented Ri Ri with the AMA for Favourite Female Artist Soul/R&B.

Alicia Keys (of Jamaican descent) didn't seem to be present at the show but she was nominated for Favourite Female Artist Soul/R&B and Favourite Album Soul/R&B.
