He's Been Hot & Cold For 5 Years

I've liked this guy for almost 5 years and I can't seem to get over him. He reminds me of that Katy Perry song “Hot 'N Cold”. Sometimes he acts interested and other times he doesn't seem to care. He didn't seem to notice me until I had a boyfriend. But when we broke up, he still didn't make a move. I know, typical male.

He told me I'm the type of girl he would want and I know he thinks I'm sexy. He even kissed me once but that's not much progress after 5 years. We're not 14 any more. What's his problem? Should I finally make the first move?

It's been 5 years. When a guy really likes a girl, it doesn't usually take 5 years to make a move. If he's confused about what he wants, it doesn't mean you have to be. He only seems to be teasing you and leaving you confused. Why should you let him play these games with you? It's time for you to move on. Some day you'll meet a guy who has no doubts about his feelings for you and is not afraid to show it. Don't waste your time with this tease.
